The front Subframe from my V6 Coupe Quattro is up for sale.
I have been told this will also fit a ABY coupe

Perfect condition and no rust !

    £60 collected from Bristol.

Also have V6 front hubs and driveshafts if anyone is interested.
    Still have :
    Front Crossmember
    Slam panels
    Front and rear ARB's
    Rack
    Servo
    ABS Module
    Cyl Heads
    Handbrake Mech

    And lots more

    All very cheap, just ask
For what this cost me so far I could have bought an S2

Caution, V6 sub frame does not fit ABY without modification, it has strengthening webs that clash with the downpipe. BTDT.

Search for my thread on sub frame replacement for more details....

        Cheers

I think this subframe will fit a ABY (it doesnt look like its got the webing in the picture) not all the V6 had the webbing.

Right to clear up any confusion and for future reference should anyone be contemplating this here is my front subframe from a 2.8 manual CQ

And this is one from a 2.8 Auto (not my pic)

Thinking about a putting a 6 speed box in my 3B, don't suppose anyone could tell me if this subframe would be suitable? Cheers.

I would say yes this is suitable (well I would wouldn't I )

At some point I looked into a 6 speed swop in my V6 CQ and from what I gathered I needed a ABY front subframe. Further investigation lead me to believe my V6 one was identical.

Others would say NO it is unsuitable as in another thread its claimed my front subframe is no good for a CQ with a 5cyl

Are all possible permutations of suitable replacement Front and Rear subframes on Steve's thread ?
