I've just had a system made up by PTR Exhausts in Brackley. The website has been taken down as they are too busy! Pete did a top job, the welding looks great, good price too. I don't think he'll be wanting to see any more coupes but an S6 should be welcome!

Did they do yours? Do you have any photos of their work?

Contact Pete Ellis from PTR exhausts in Brackley...retired (albeit young 30 something years old) from being the welder for McClaren F1...Had mine done 3 years back...pure art and awesome sound through a 2.75 inch straight through system on my ABY Coupe!

Sorry for the thread hijack. How much would It be looking to pay for a custom exhaust for mybs4?

Rich, that's pity as I just been looking at their gallery over the holidays and their work looks very nice.

Were they too busy, or didn't want the grief of an an older car that they may not have done more recently? Just nosey.

Mine is in good order, but a 3" inch downpipe with two screw in taps and the cats bypassed with the factory system would still be nice.

I know you will, but keep the UrS6 owners posted with how you get on.

                Best wishes.

well I'm surprised Lance didn't want some work...I know he's busy but that seems a little unusual....the guy in brackley could be worth a run out....I've seen some of the F1 welders work and it is art work as opposed to welding....
