I'm almost tempted to buy this and store it until I get round to doing this, the 944 chassis and the S2 engine have to be the perfect combination.

yes will make an awesome car, i have a 924 turbo shell, that was going to take an s2 engine. the combination of 5 pot noise, lightweight well balenced rwd 944/924 and transaxle grip etc will make for a serious motor.

Would the 944 RWD gearbox deal with a 500bhp monster 👹?

Probably for a long enough time to buy a backup box.

944 running gear is strong. Lots of 944 turbos in states and aus running well over that power

if its a turbo or s2 box they r strong, turbo boxes have hardened 1st and 2nd gears

you can also fit 968 6 speed boxes

£350 for members on here for a quick sale.

cost more to make the sump! and 924 turbo bellhousing is £100 worth as well!
