Turbo coolant core plug

I had a few people ask me about this when I made one for my engine, so I've finally got round to making a couple.







It's a steel core plug with a -6 AN ( 8mm bore ) stainless fitting TIG welded to it. I had to strip the zinc plating off the coreplug to weld it , so it will need a lick of paint to match your block colour.

Allows you to make fancy coolant hoses for your turbo like this

Drill it or screwdriver it out. Depends if the turbo gubbins are all attached to engine to get at it

I use a small sharp chisel, cut down the side and tap it round and pull it out. I put a smear of sealant round the new one and hammer it into place with a socket over it
