Offset top mounts and subframe bushes

These are my original design and when fitted, can give just over 4 degrees of castor.

The bearings are the largest I could fit, PTFE lined and motorsport spec - these were £35 each alone.

These have been on the car for just over a year and the bearings are as good now as when they were fitted.

Price is a bit difficult, as this lot has cost me a fortune that I will no not get back but as price is required, £250 ono for the 2 top mounts and full set of front subframe mounting bushes.

Can you share some pics of how the wheel sits in the arch? Do you have a complete kit for sale?

Were these a one off or are you producing them in numbers?

I haven't posted on here in a very long time, but I'm piecing together the suspension for my 2nd '90 CQ from the bits in my 1st '90 CQ that I've had for nearly 20 years. This newer one is getting 300lb/in springs front and 400lb/in springs rear, along with 4-pot monobloc Brembos. Factory G60's just don't do well with the speed a VEMS run ABH can provide. That all said, while redoing the suspension, I'd like to do something about the caster and camber, since this is my toy that will be autocrossed. Do you think there would be any fitment issues with a set of 17x8 wheels that have 245's wrapped on them? Could you ship/post these to the States? If so, we can talk payment method via PM or email.

For reasons of price and competitor products emerging, these never made it out of the prototype stage. I have run them on my car for several years and the geometry changes make a really good difference, so well worth the effort and thanks to mass production, they'll cost you less than the £1500 I sank in to pioneering them.

Chris, I had the 17x8 Voxx wheels on my old coupe, so I knew they'd fit over the brembo brakes and with the current suspension (250lb/in front, 300 lb/in rear). I wanted to make sure that with the revised geometry they'd still clear when steering. But thank you!
