Ported/Polished 7A Head (3b spec)

Audi cylinder head, I believe this is a 7a casting, as it doesn't have the cam position sensor mount, and it looks to have been machined in later life for the ABY water rail, so currently its "3B spec". It looks like the engine number has been machined off (did they always have them?), either way you can stamp yours on if you should wish.

I bought it off the forum with a load of other parts in 2014 from rnagy86, who was selling all the parts for a stroker build, but I've never actually used it myself, its just been collecting dust.

Its been fully ported on the inlet and exhaust, all the valve seats have been very nicely blended in and the combustion chambers polished. It's also been skimmed ready to fit. All the cam caps are included (just not shown in the main pictures) and there are definitely no cracks. This would be the ideal head for any high power engine build.

There are no inlet valves, cam chain or hydraulic followers included. You will need to have a cam position sensor fitted too if using on an ABY engine. Obviously it will need building up properly by an expert, but theres already a huge saving here considering most specialists would charge around £750 for porting. Any more pics or info please ask. Would you know if it's been CNC ported or
just hand ported? Also would an AAN water
rail work on this or it has to be ABY. Very
interested pending details.

Hi, yes seats are for stock valve size and I would say its certainly been hand ported

and yes AAN water rail will fit too, there is no difference with the heads in this aspect
