Any interest in an Audi RS2 engine ?

I have breaked an Audi RS2 some time ago, somebody promised me to buy the engine and pay me in a few months, but I think he didn't manage to come up with the amount and he's backing out.

The engine has been taken out of the car, it's missing the Exhaust manifold, the coils, the turbo, etc, I will make a complete list of what's included or not next week.

The engine is basically like new, no wear anywhere, it was rebuilt several thousand km ago, details can be found here:

Car had 105.000 km on the tacho when I bought it, but I cannot confirm it was real.
Based on the engine's condition when we opened the engine, it could have had 105.000 km, as the engine was almost perfect inside.
We have rebuild many 2.2t engines and this one was just a very good base.


1000 km running-in period after rebuild.
Block usage measured: 0.01 so no need for rebore
Honing: Perfect
Pistons Condition: Perfect
Rods: we replaced them with Pauter ones
Head: PERFECT, no cracks anywhere, just basic refurbish

Gaskets replaced:

sump gasket
oil pump gasket
crank rear seal cover gasket
oil filter mounting gasket
exhaust manifold gasket
intake manifold gasket
turbo gasket to manifold
turbo gasket to downpipe
camcover gasket set
cylinder head gasket
water manifold gasket

O-rings replaced:

oilpump suction pipe oring
oilfilter housing bolt orings
water manifold orings
water pump oring
thermostat oring
rear water plug on block to heater matrix oring

Seals replaced:

Valve seals
crankshaft front and rear seals
camshaft seal

Other parts replaced:

intake valves
exhaust valves
thermostat
cover for thermostat
pcv valve and T parts and small hoses
colant plug on block to heater matrix
valve guides
main bearings,conrod bearings SPUTTER
water pump and timing belt kit
cylinder head bolt set
sparkplugs

I am looking for 3750 E

For extra money i can provide rs2 turbo, engine harness loom, aan remapped by PRJ motronic that has rs2 stage one map, etc.

In picture #1 you can see TFSI loom made by Norbitron. Top quality stuff.

For extra money I can give you the rs2 turbo + AAN Motronic RS2'zed by PRJ and stage 1 and TFSI coils.
If it doesn't sell in one week I will break the engine and sell it in parts.

If it's sold complete, before the sale I will take the head down so the buyer can be sure everything I've said in my post is true.
