I have waited as long as I could to write this post. About three years ago, I pre-ordered one of Justin's sheet metal intake manifolds for $900. After countless broken promises about a done-by date, I have decided I have to let it go. I paid lots of money for one of those intakes, but I must...

I never ripped anyone off. I had supply issues back when I was running group buys. No one paid me and didn't receive their product. This is the last manifold assembly I held on to but have moved away from Audis.

                  Regards,
                  Justin

That's not exactly what anyone can read on the thread. Getting someone's 900$ and taking 3 years of 32 pages on a forum to get the items delivered in pieces isn't exactly the customer care one would expect..

I agree that was a mess and I take responsibility for that. I set myself up for failure having an out of state supplier / fabricator that could not deliver on promises. Due to this I couldn't deliver on my promises to Jonathan. I attempted to rectify the situation in the end included extra fuel rails as seen in the final picture in that thread as well as the jig to replicate throttle placement of the cast forward facing intake manifold. The jig was not meant to be welded on. Just to tack the manifold together before the tacked together manifold was to be bolted to the cylinder head for final welding.

Maybe you should offer COD (payment upon delivery)? It's been done before.

As a follow up for yesterdays request here is a picture of all the parts on the scale here at work. Fully packaged weight should be ~10lbs.

Just to add a little balance here, I bought a manifold flange from Justin way back when he was supplying them and had no problems at all. The item arrived in good time and good condition.

I never used it in the end and still have it somewhere, a nice quality bit of kit...

                            Cheers

If problems have been sorted then it's good to hear. Unfortunately a lot of people have been burnt before and on this forum while on the other hand everyone deserves a second chance to prove they are doing the right thing.

To me even transaction should be done by paypal to reduce the burden of problems like the above.
