AC parts from MY94 ABY Coupe

Compressor and hoses removed from my car - there might be a leak in either hose - I have no facility to pressure test them, but the compressor is serviceable AFAIK.

£25 plus postage - its a heavy brute of course so realistically UK only for postage.

Includes the bracket which mounts the compressor to the engine.

Replied - Nace in pole position, subject to shipping charges which I expect will be horrendous !

Pics to follow this evening. Weight of the compressor with two main hoses is 9.5kg... one hose needs removed to fit into sensible box size so thats probably going to be a 10kg package.

Is there a chance the compressor would work on my 3B? (already running R134a)
If it would work, am interested... (LHD with old style auto climate control)

I would need to check if it can bolt into 3B bracket, but hoses could be different etc. Anyway - Nace has first dibs - I need to get pics and shipping quote for him first of all.

                Pics attached :

2599 - the hoses from drier to evaporator and into top of condenser with pressure switches

2600 - the compressor with two main hoses attached. Also the drive belt, heat shield and 4 x O-rings to help the new owner confirm sizes for fresh parts !

2601 - closer pic showing R134a badge... this system never used anything else

2602 - pic of the Zexel Part numbers on the clutch

2605 - signs of outer cracks appearing on the bigger main hose

I reckon the larger hoses will need to post separately from the main compressor.

I didn't want to place a silly / inflated price on them as they been unused for so long... I have tripped over the compressor once too often. Hopefully they will end up in a good home for a second life !

@Nace20 - see pics of the slightly chewed nut on the long hose. This one has a solid section so it cannot be folded into same box as the compressor.

It put up quite a fight after 22yrs but it was defeated by lots of PlusGas, some Freeze Spray, a Stilson wrench and a bottle of Corona !

@everyone else - the solid hose which tracks across the bulkhead from the evaporator to the drier is surplus to requirements for Nace20 as it is RHD. Its the big one in IMG 2599 above.

                          £5 plus postage !

PS - It has a part number on it, but I will confirm that tomorrow.

Just to follow up on this - Nace buying all the aircon parts except this one hose (from cabin evaporator across the bulkhead to the hose that connects to air dryer).

                            Part number is 8A2-260-712-AD (8A2260712AD)

£5 plus postage to anyone who needs it.

FYI - there are other Aircon hoses still on the car which will also come available as and when I unbolt them.

You are lucky to get them apart.. I broke the compressor fittings clean off trying to get the hoses off.. that meant new hoses and new compressor.. If anyone has the solid line for LHD, I would be interested as mine was repaired and I am sure it will fail soon.
