Just to help you widen your search a little there's noting special about the RS2 MAF other than the plastic screens, which I don't like as they go brittle and bit's snap off.

I use the OE wire screen on the hose end of my MAF's

Though the part numbers differ 3B, AAN, ABY and indeed ADU units are all identical electronically. There's a Porsche one that's there same as well.

I purchased a brand new ABY S2 MAF from (I hate to say it) Audi Tradition last year for less than £300 delivered.

Good reconditioned Bosch units can be sourced from a couple of on-line parts factors for about £250.

To add to this I purchased a brand new bosch ABY MAF earlier this year from company in Germany listed on german ebay , worked out about £170 if I remember.

Thanks guys for all info supplied! I have done some research and yes, you are right, there are no differences except the plastic screens. Thanks again for support! In this case i will start looking for ABY/AAN maf.
