audi 7a efi injector adapter kit

I have for sale a 7a efi injector kit from 034 that i'm no longer using on my car, I ran these for about a year. They made a noticeable difference in performance. I only removed them after the car got rear ended.

034Motorsport's complete 7A EFI injector adapter kit upgrades the failure-prone factory 7A fuel injectors with modern high impedance Bosch fuel injectors. The Bosch injectors supplied in the kit are an exact match for the stock Hitachi injectors, but offer more consistent flow and superior atomization. Provides improved idle, part-throttle response, fuel economy, and horsepower over stock Hitachi injectors.

Adapters can be purchased on ebayfor around £40 and suitable injectors are around £120 a set if you want to diy like I did.

            adapters - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Audi-90-Qu...YAAOSwc-tY3a4C

Injectors - as stated in the epytec ad use Bosch injection nozzles tailor-made for installation:

Bosch Nr. 0280155931 (Grey) = Flow rate as the original
Bosch Nr. 0280150945 (Red) = Bigger flow rate for more power
Bosch Nr. 0280156095 (Black) = identical with the red one

Dave: What did you do to compensate for the resistor pack?

Joining all the wires together is all that's required if memory serves me correct, I'm sure someone else can confirm.

Great to see/here interest on the 7A on this forum!!

Yes, join all the wires together.

Have to say though, the Ebay adapters I bought seem a little big for the tops of the injectors, and can leak very easily, especially if the injector goes off-kilter even a tiny bit -something that is easy to do on a 7A when tightening the fuel rail.

It has been my intention to buy an 034 kit to compare, but if anyone has both to compare, I would be all ears.

Also have the Epytec.de ones fitted ony my 90 20V. Very please with fitment and price. Got a set of bosch injectors of the newer narrow body style on them. not sure about what flow I've bought by heart.

Easy to install and a lot cheaper to get 'normal' injectors compared to the longer hitachi ones that are impossible to find for a good price.

                        Procedure:
                        remove fuel rail
                        old injectors in the bin
place new injectors with the adapters and o-rings
                        put fuel rail back on
join all resistor wires as the bosch ones are high resistance injectors and don't need the current restrictors.

My car was running better through the revs and idle was smoother as the old ones where probably leaking a bit at low volume injection causing the negine to shake a bit.
