It is still available new and should cost well below 10 quid. (6 eur where I check the pricing) Also, just in case, you need it for an 80 not an S2 Avant, right?

Ah ok. I just assumed it would be NLA or stupid money. I need it for an S2 avant, assumed they were the same?

Not the same. Part number 8A0807194 and costs ~15€ new. For S2 Avant/Sedan.

No, they are completely different. The S2 bumper has no brackets on the sides and is mounted similar to the S2/Coupe front bumper.
The correct part number is 8A0807194. Bought them last year for ~18 euros per side.

Edit: Luck is not on you side - they have become NLA since then. From my experience, they don't tend to come off in one piece so will be hard to find. Cabrios used the same mount from 1997 to 2000 iirc. That's your best bet since S2 Avants and Limos are not easy to come by.

Good catch, thanks guys. I scrapped a cabrio last year, guess which parts i didn't bother to keep

P.S. Does this look right to you guys, i could have sworn it was a slide on type bracket where as this one looks like the bumper attaches with screws?

That's the one Typical Audi - just moved the parts to Tradition Shop so you have to pay that annoying shipping fee.
On a side note - I'd suggest getting and replacing both sides while you're at it since they become fragile over time. Also grease the bolts so they don't get seized.
