nice cars the v8's! i have a friend who bought a 4.2 off ebay, some dodgy bloke in nottingham!he got it home and rebuilt the whole engine because he wanted to know how they were put together!!he only owned 200 turbos before, and knows them inside out!!

its great to have a guy who knows audis inside out!!

Great car!
Had the use of one for three days.
Simply great.

Just don't know about maintenance though!

maintenance might just kill you, they are less fun than S2's to work on, and parts are a problem except front indicators i think. They have those stupid UFO brakes which cost a fortune to replace. Cracking rear diffs though

the v8 audi are no healthy.....the syl are made of alu,like the lawn mover ...if the sylinder are gone,the block are gone ....have to require a new engine it wery expensive

When someone advertises a car and won't reply to calls through an office switchboard, which of course will come up as a witheld number, or from your home landline, which could be ex directory, then he / she either has something to hide, or is avoiding someone.

My landline is ex directory, rang the sellers number, took about 4 rings before he picked up the phone, and then, he waited for me to speak first! Shady.
