HELP planning RS2 conversion

I have an audi coupe quattro 2.8 V6 and am planning an rs2 conversion.
dont want to sell the car and buy an s2 spent to much already.

please help . I need to know how everything.

I have been reading up about it for a while now.
I know i want to change hubs / brakes to 5 stud etc
I will need a complete engine /6 speed box, wireing loom, intercooler, turbo ,ecu.

questions==
1=can i keep my v6 rad have seen s2 with a v6 rad fitted so is it worth keeping?.
2=will the engine bay be the same as an s2 buy the time i remove the mounts etc?.
3=will the 6 speed box fit okay
4=will have to remove my battery box ?.it's on the passengers side.
5=what is the hardest part of the conversion going to get an auto spark to do the loom.as i know its hard work and dont want any probs.
got loads more questions will be needing quite a lot of help.

Why not try doing rs4 conversion, 2.8 twin turbo

looked into that its been done on a4 s and a 2 wd passat . but its a lot of work and it has no throttle cable its fly buy wire so you have to change the whole peddle set up.
then there is no guarentees the drive shafts /prop shaft / box will even be close to fitting

Would it not make more sense just to unbolt and de-install what you have in your V6 and buy an S2 with a few mods? Sounds like a lot of work and cost.

I have thought about that but its not easy finding a silver s2.
I will need the old bumpers of the s2 to put on the 2.8 and the 2.8 s onto the s2 . that will save me painting all four bumpers.and the side skirts will never come of again even with a crow bar .also i like the silver coupes. but mind you i could sell my car with standard bumpers just spray the bottom halfs and leave the side skirts on and buy new ones for the s2

That V6 doesn't have solutions for growing hp?

IMO the opportunity for error/cost/pain taking that route is huge. Your car looks clean enough, the most straightforward and simple route would be to sell and search for a S2 to your liking. Keep the bits you can/ want to, or just keep the experience you've gained and start the S2 afresh. The conversion would certainly put off any prospective buyers in the future.



The S2 is addictive as the thousands of posts will testify... it won't be long until you're contemplating the dark side... sell and buy an S2
