if you do the hole in the inner fender 5cm towards the headligt you will clear the tank for the a/c.. but then it might be tight with 4" plumbing..

modifying lmm to fit in a 4" alu tube.
removed the old tube and cut a plate in 3mm alu that i will weld onto the 4" tube

interesting. are you running BMW spindles and wheels? They are 5x120 PCD.
Also, I'm curious why you'd use a second heavy 4-pot on the rear for a hydraulic handbrake. If you set up a hydraulic handbrake properly with it's own master cylinder and reservoir, there should be no reason you couldn't settle with only one caliper. Having two calipers that big adds a lot of unsprung weight (but then again, you've got 19x9.5" wheels )
I'm looking forward to seeing the overall progress of this project!

Could you be more specific, how to set up hydraulic handbrake with separate reservoir ?

Because I'm thinking about hydraulic handbrake, and everything I found is such hydraulic scheme:

Main brake fluid reservoir->Rear brakes master cyl->brake line to rear wheels->Handbrake master cyl->T-piece on the brake line->Calipers.

In such scheme handbrake master cyl. reservoir is nothing but brake line. I've seen such things in slalom golf's. Handbrake master cyl must have bleeding, also you need to be very carefull and use only pressure bleeder then bleeding rears, because with pedal you can easily damage seals.

Not sure if such setup can be used in high speed/performance applications.

                              Sau
