    After Run Coolant Fan

I'm swapping an AAN into my B4 90Q.

How important is it to hook up the after run coolant fan. I don't have the relay.

I should be able to hook up the after run coolant pump without out the fan.

    Any thoughts?

I did this too when my pump failed but was recommended to replace it ASAP by more experienced Forum members. If you opt to leave it off you should simmer the turbo after a thrashing....

        ?

sorry got the wrong end of the stick before, the relay you taking about stays on so long after the engine/ignition has been turned off, IIRC the car ill not start unless you have a feed going to it, is it a blue/black wire?

        cheers

I have got the After Run Coolant Control module which will run the After Run coolant pump. But I don't have the relay that operates the After Run Fan.

From the look of the drawing I should be able to have the pump work without the fan.

So the car won't start without the pump or the fan?

there is a blue/black wire which needs a feed to start the car, this also runs the after run fan, thats all i know!

              Thanx Wab

I guess I will figure it out.

I'm planning to start splicing the wires this weekend, but something always comes up.
