More Power - Stage 2

Hi all,
Have not even picked car up from respray yet (don't ask why)and have started getting all bits together for power upgrade.
However have managed to overlook something...... intercooler.
THis is a big problem as I am very limited with space. It can only go in same space as old one so I need your help to come up with a solution please?

If you remove the centre support

and put the strength back with a cross over tube, this will give you enough space you need and still be able to hang parts from it.

Charge cooler is like a water cooled intercooler. Basically the air flows through a radiator grille and the other part is water cooled to an external radiator which keeps the air cool

chris corey is right you need to chop the front end off if you want big intercooler in there. plus you'll be able to lift out the engine a lot easier if you have bars at the front which can be unbolted.

Finally delivered engine for intended tweaks..... seems more needs uprating than just the turbo. Here is pic of my engine mounts. Does anyone know where to get uprated items? I think Aelred was looking into this.... any news on that front?

UPDATE!!!

Spoke QRSport today who may be able to get some solid mounts. Also spoke to Aelred who may have something in the pipeline. Failing that, anyone know of any? Don't really want to opt for solid mounts.
