Just pulled out my 3B engine and box from the donor car. With all the polishing porting and spraying I have to do I'm still miles away from fitting in my 2.3 90 quattro, but I am excited about it all except my bank balance. I will keep everyone up to date as I go on and might even get some pics.

Few questions
Whats the general consensus on porting a head DIY,
Anyone had any luck with a good brand engine block paint?

just do a light port if you've never done it before .i mean just make it smooth inside the ports dont go mad just use emery cloth with your fingers .there is no room for error or your head will be scrap.
