Hi folks been lurking for awhile........... but now I need some help. Got the car got the motor and harness. I'm just looking for some basic info on the wiring that needs to be done. TIA

Hi and welcome onto the forum. Getting the wiring loom in is quite a big task. Tom (Audiman) has just fitted an ABY Loom into his 3B and there are a few others that have done the transplant too.

Basicly you need to supply engine harness with proper power (battery, + with ignition, ground terminals), plug tachometer, diagnostics and preferably water temp, oil temp, and oil pressure.

Hey thanks for the file but I should of been more specific the motor is out of 1993 ur s4 not an s6.

It makes no difference on pin numbers, however some not very important colors may be changed. However with colors it's very easy to track wire you need in that bazillion connectors you get with ECU.

I've given you another file with whole system look - grab it and have it nearby when you do something with engine wiring .

aan wiring

hows your wiring going on the aan swap?
I have to begin the same task soon............
I was thinking of getting a wiring harness and stand aolne computer from 034efi, to make the swap go smoother.....and I could use the programmability........
I really have no idea at the moment yet though.......as I don't even have the car in front of me to figure out what I am even looking at......
and price is a big deal also for the whole harness and computer........
if you have stumbled upon anything I could definetly use the imput.....

I have yet to find the time to get started on this project..too many other projects but in next few months I will be getting the show the road.
