    Man On A Mission!!!

    Hey Guys,

Here we go, five days off and lots of work planned ......... Put this here as it covers lots of different areas!!

    1. Remove Aux Rad and replace it with much bigger intercooler.........
    2. Replace front outer CV boots.
    3. Strip and sort front calipers (G60's)
    4. Strip and sort Rear calipers.
    5. Replace front brake lines with RS2 hardlines and BFgoodrich lines.
    6. Replace rear subframes.
    7. Replace RARB with witeline (finally)
    8. Strip intake system, clean and replace.....
    9. Full fuel system flush.
    10. Full Brake fluid replacement.
    11. Sit back and relax.
    12. Have a few beers

Ouch. any pointers on any of the above (particullarly the oil cooler replacment)?

Only small upgrades at the mo to the brakes. Still keeping the G60's as skint (divorce costing me heaps) but upgrading other cheaper parts to make the whole process esier and cheaper in the future. Got to get the dials done first ala Bo at the end of the month.
All this is in aid of MOT time and a certain failure on CV boots and brakelines. So wjile I have it stripped I thought I would do a couple of other bits too. Just for fun as I have the parts already.

              Right Update time anyway.

After long and arduous task of getting the passengers side CV joint off to fit the new boot. One gashed hand after slipping getting a caliper off. One smashed finger after mate hitting it with hammer trying to get CV joint off. We have actually had a good day.

Measured up for the lines to be made tomorow for the oil cooler where the Aux rad used to be. sorted all the water lines for the rad removal. removed the whole air intake system and cleaned inside and out. Fitted new massive piper filter measures 250mm across the base so it was a struggle you know. sorted and cleaned up the passengers side caliper (regreased new pads etc) Fitted that side brake lines and put it all back together....

Well one corner done. Feeling a bit more confident for tomorow as now know a few shortcut type bits to help out. so should get the front completed and the rear stripped and ready to be sorted for the whitline. Bf goodric brake hoses and alike.

                  Right few piccies.

Done a fair bit today as you may see.....

Whitline started to fit then shafted a bolt so refit the rest and will drill and tapp tomorow to get that on.

Sorted the oil lines should be here tomorow with all the correct bends etc that I need

Degunked uinder the engine where I had a bit of a pressure leak from the original oil lines. Fingers crossed problem fixed as it seemed to be everything rear of the front oil pipe that got gunked up... Hope it is not the turbo hose though!!!!!

And another. Have kept the samco bottom hose fully as I dont want to cut it down. The top samco was removed and used the OE one cut down to size to keep the run short and out of the way

and you saw a sneeky peek of the new filter. Yes it is BIG!. managed to get a form of heat shield put togeter too. Not the wrap around that I was planning but it should help along the way. You would never guess where I got it and what it is actually supposed to be. Answers on a post card to
