    Coupe Quattro to RS2 Coupe

Hey! So figured I'd start my CQ build thread. I know it wont be the most exciting but I figured there are others out there like me that like to see even small steps in a long term project. So first off, I bought my 1990 Coupe Quattro last year from a good friend of mine. (Pretty much bugged him non stop for a solid 4 or 5 months until he decided to sell it to me) I then just enjoyed the car and drove it around town and to some local meets getting to know it and learn what I liked about it and what I wanted to change. The car was fairly stock other than some aftermarket wheels, 034 solid subframe bushings, some interior panel work that was custom done by my friend, and a good amount of smaller bits and pieces that came with it. The car then was garaged as I needed to install a new clutch slave cylinder that was leaking and fix some noisy strut mounts, in the meantime I picked up a good donor URS4 that i got a lead on. AAN in it runs good with some compression loss but still within Audi's specs. Currently I am finishing pulling the engine, trans, wiring harness, ecu, etc. and getting the CQ prepped for heart transplant and tiding up some minor issues like rear defroster not working. Long term goal for the coupe is a OEM+ kind of feel, RS2 goodies, s2 bits, and clean aftermarket parts as well. Nothing crazy here just a basic bolt on car for now...... Pictures to come soon!

Always good to see a project thread start, looking forward to plenty of picture of the journey. That spec should ensure plenty of smiles at the end! Good luck
