  • MaxxECU CAN BUS 5" lcd tft

    Hi

Just wanted to show my project in progress where I recieve and transmitt data via CAN BUS from MaxxECU to a microcontroller and finally show it on a display. Going to fit it in the dashboard somewhere suitible.
    Nothing fancy but anyway…

And yes, I now that there is possible to use Mdash but I wanted to have the data stream via CAN and not Bluetooth.

This is great. If you can make this into a user configurable CAN display I am sure you will have a good business

                Hi

It's not just adapted for Maxxecu. Any ECU or module where you can define id:s for the different packages thats reciewed or transmittet is fine. So it's quite easy to configure.

Mdash is bluetooth, this streams through the CAN BUS.

One reason why I started with this was that most of the CAN displays was so expensive and I also wanted to integrate one in my S6 in my one way. I have some smaller dispays without touch that maby could be fitted in a nice way in the dash.

Because it is not real time. Bluetooth connection is not serious enough to use as a main dashboard.
You need something on a CAN stream (or flexray). This is the industry standard.

Why not use Ecumaster ADU5 or ADU7?
Because you just like to tinker? Or you are trying to make a competing product?
