Dash problems

Hey. Got a new project on the go. Gone and got another Quattro with 7a lump in it. Bought it as a non runner one of the problems was odometer stopped working replaced worn gears works again. Went to move the car and now all of a sudden no Speedo no rev counter. Have power to the cluster as all the other clocks work including the clock and all the back lights are on. Anyone help me out with this one or is it a trip to the garage. Thanks.

At the back of the cluster there is a little three pin voltage regulator. It has a small metal washer that connects to the circuit board by a screw which you removed to take the cluster apart. Check it's clean as has a good contact and is tight.
