S2 limo replica

Been meaning to do this for long time,I bought this s2 limo replica from sjw185 my plans are to build a fast road car. It’s a 2.2 but was thinking of putting the stroker 2.5 in it instead? I’ve acquired wagner ic gtx3071 turbo .6 hot side a rs2 manifold,turbosmart comp 40 wastegate,Siemens deka injectors I think 630cc? Using standard motronic ecu with custom speed density tune,I just need to fit a walbro 450 fuel pump and a 3bar fpr then get it insured & mot then get some fresh paint on the car. Still a lot to do but starting to move forward with it and I’ll up date when I can.

Thanks Rikki,I’ve got some good plans how I want the car to handle and look it is finding time to fit the parts on and getting some paint on but I guess all projects are like that

Alright Steve,I’ve got most of the hard bits done now one was a subframe bolt that snapped inside captive nut spent half day extracting it out,now it’s just easy stuff left then paint

I had a spare few hours on Sunday to start on the 3” dp never made one before so I thought I would give it a go manage to get the angles with the pie cuts and 45 degree mandrel bend all tack up and ready to be welded.

IMG_5056.jpeg IMG_5054.jpeg IMG_5052.jpeg IMG_5053.jpeg IMG_5055.jpeg update since last time I was making my down pipe I had to remake it all again this time a 90’ instead of 45’ as it was too close to gearbox housing for my liking and I used a a very thick piece of billet aluminium as a heat soak for the flange as to not warp it,also I’ve never seen people use a flexi on these cars is there a reason why?

Oh hell I had them all off so thought they would be no bother hope your getting on ok.
Downpipe looking great, wish mine looked like that.
