Cool, looking forward to what you think of the Zymol.
I will be ready to PC your car this summer too if you are still up for it...

definately Steve, seeing what difference the zymol has made to the finish has inspired me to invest in a high quality wax, the finish is on a whole new level! Knowing how many light scratches there are on my car, having the benefit of a PC on top will probably amaze me with what can be achieved with 15yr old paint
I'd have claybar'd it yesterday but couldn't find any but as the paint was pretty smooth just relied on the AG super resin to do a reasonable job or pre-prep...
Well it seems as good a place as any to post today's work.
As some of you will know, I am trying to get down to the Nurburgring on the March 29th Forum Trip. All very well saying I would go earlier in the year, but my MOT expried yesterday and I have a little work to do to get the car prepped.
Once that had been completed I had the rest of the day to comlete the following jobs:
Refit Catalytic Converters
Oil and Filter change
Air Filter change
Renew Spark plugs
Change one off rear number plate bulb
Change front NS side light bulb.
All jobs were completed successfully during a 4 hour period this afternoon apart from the side light. Stupidly and against my better judgement, I believed the "Halfords Catalogue of lies" that told me I needed a 233 bulb for the side lights. (Bayonet fitment) I knew looking at it that it did not look right. I bought it anyway and really needed a 501 P (Press fit) which I exchanged tonight.
All that's left is to swap in a new pair of side light bulbs, MOT on Wednesday and then all being well fit the Cat remover pipes back on again before meeting everyone very early on Saturday morning for the blast to Germany
I would love to report on more work that has been done, but the reality of having a nine month old daughter is you can't play with your toys anymore. I fully intend to do some more work on the bodywork with the PC in the summer and really refine the shine and also try some "wet sanding" on the front bumper to try and remove some of the fine stone chips....
Cheers,
Steve.
