rear mounted alternator

hi all, still thinking of ways of getting more weight of the frount end. Had an idear of fitting alternator at back to run off the diff flange[I know it wont charge welst not driving] ..I have been told audi did this mod on the s1 , I thought I was being clever! Has any one got any pictures of this or any imfo. I am also going to fit an electric power steering pump from a mr2 [1990-91] javid has done this on his 80 .. RAY

Slick way to move weight to the rear, but personally there are many other things I would do before going this route.

It is a nice feature for a race car. Sitting in traffic won't help much charging the battery
