Not sure what has caused the compression issue, everything else has been checked out so the block is being replaced by process of elimination. Aparrently no issues with the HG and the head is 100% and it's not from the valves either.

Having read thru the thread I am sure I owe Jamo some abuse... hah. Better get your missus on the thread Jamo, before mine has more posts and more reads that yours! I *must* get that crown before the stroker lifts the bar

Besides, doesn't tha Parts Daddy have it at the mo (AKA Ben)? Those front brakes are worth at least 10hp

If its losing compression it should be fairly obvious, must have a resonable crack or something??

Have you had the block crack tested to prove its that before having it put back together again??

Was a leak down test carried out before the strip down? That would indicate the area in which the loss is occuring.
