I've just bought a second set 18x8.5 & 18x9.5. Will get a chance to do some experimenting on the rears and have a few spares
oh mann, you've just made me all giddy inside you know I still ponder those wheels every day...........
so you got a full set of 9.5"?
I know what those'll look good on

yeaaa 4.2 is the way to go. I was really contemplating that route when my timing cog decided to shear and all the valves went from strait to super limp wrist, but in my case I already had a full 20v setup (not like you don't), but I just couldn't justify it. I think though that if I were to do it again, 4.2 would be how I would go. na, worryless, lighter than the i5, and nearly as fast as my gt3071'd aan.....

    You've got it

why do you assume I will need them for a Coupe? for curiousity sake they are destined for a 90q I am buying for my Father

Lol yes somewhat! Its the slow accumulation of bits that's keeping but when it's all there Derek will help me finish it.

Speaking of cup1s. I've just bought a second set 18x8.5 & 18x9.5. Will get a chance to do some experimenting on the rears and have a few spares:mischeif:

I've just modded a center console for mine so it removes the tape holders and the cig lighter hole

what made the change from 20vt to v8 then? and will it end up with some turbo's on for good measure
    Yo Pete.

The black plastic on the top is an 80 comp lip spoiler like skull said. The other two bits are rear 80 comp spoiler extension mounts. Missed the auction this morning for the rear spoiler lip attachment

For this project my last parts came from Martyn included the later cabriolet center console with no lighter hole and diff hole so pretty much what you've made

My mind changes rapidly but I contemplated my problem which is not being satisfied. After all this collecting and spending and shipping I'd like to be happy with the end results. I would not be satisfied with a replica RS2/S2. The real deal or nothing. So I've decided to drop turbos and all its maintenance costs for NA V8 power into my daily. I now think I'll be happy with this route. It's still an OEM queen. Very good mix match of S2/RS2/S6+ bits, lots of black chrome.

    Looking out for an S8 4v 4.2 motor and S6+ 6spd tranny
