      Thanks.

I like the car alot. But its like anything with such a history its hard to really find out what's in it without tearing it apart.

Right now the car is just fast. Maybe 240 hp at the crank and 2700 lbs. It should be up in the mid 300s for sure though.

I was just reading through all the stuff on the alloy blocks in the previous thread. Although I don't think that is the issue, I'm not ruling that out.

Alloy block? Whoa! That's some rare racing stuff you have there then. Don't break it

          James,

What engine code does your head have stamped onto it?

Sounds a bit weird not having a o2 sensor
Sounds like it should be a good lump kicking out more than that! With the air cooled turbo, just let it tick over for about 1 min or more after stopping to allow it to cool down. Not sure what is wrong with that one, need to find the previous owners and ask what and who did thework on it

Thought you guys might find this interesting.

This is a good shot of the tapered water manifold.

No apparent issues with the block or the cylinder liners.

Pistons are 79.5mm Bore. 86mm stroke.
              Head PN is 034103373K

I will do a full measured CR and then reassemble the motor.
