I've seen nicer wheels but i've seen much worse too. I don't like the headlight eyebrows and I can't tell if that's aftermarket side skirts? If so i'd take them off to bring it back to more standard looking. apart from that It looks very much like mine (minus the big dent) before I took it apart.

well first things first is it not good to, take a little chip turn on it?? what would be my best chioce for chip, since i only own programs for the aan setups. I would like something that would bring her to ca 300. Or do i need some more stuff then??

I'd imagine Paul (S2central) would be the place to start. Think you can push the standard 220bhp to 280bhp just with the homefry chip. anybody verify this? I'll be planning this later too but i'll put the car together first.

Contact Mihnea @ MRC Tuning for a generic 3B chip. That shoud get you ~280bhp/420Nm. The head gasket should be ok with that. Although your ARV gearbox might not be.

Paul, chip a 3B? Surely not? I mean, it's got a prehistoric distributor and that.

It probably depends how you treat it. But I think Audi were pushing their luck with the 01A at 220bhp/309Nm.

Sorry man. Don't worry about the gearbox, just wory about it if/when it happens. 5 speeds shift much better than the 6 speeders, are much lighter, and very cheap to buy.
