since last blast, ive fitted the shortshift from 034M and what a piece of kit. The transformation is
also fitted the MarkHmod. from 034M, but the hose was to big, and the clamp was to big so had to do some modding...
finally gotten rid of the infamous boost leak. But car is not running as good as i hoped. Going for vems standalone now
sorry i forgot to take pics of the short shift, as i was in a hurry to go to the 1/4mile.
yup it takes off good, but then shift to second and boooohhhh it doesnt give any power right away
when it rains it ****in pooors.. oil cooler broke today, pissing oil all over the street, buhuuu not happy now

Taking the head off and rebuilding the bottom end also, also opened up the other 3b head i have for more flow. I got type 5 heads now including the head in the car. 2 of them are 7a heads..

at long last shes boosting and driving like a maniac... But after 3-4 runs the gearbox, said plooop, and now 1-2-3-4 weeeeeeee sound... cool??? eeehh nooot.
But heyyy she going like hell...
And the big news is, believe it or not, i found a gearbox (s2) here in Iceland, and i got that and, wait for it wait for it.... 80quattro 1981 for 25 000,-
i have to say i am really happy, because i changed gearbox at 17 00 and was finished race ready at 20 00 on the track.. so lots of fun, and really fun to see how much one can take the time down.. 1,1 sek in one evening..
