Hi guys

Just a quickie really.

To save me a few bob do any of you know of a breaker with a coupe of teh same colour as mine in. I am afetr a petrol flap (bust mine so got a white one on )
Passenger door and a bonnet......

My door has some rust on hence replace instead of respay. The bonnet has had an accident a while back which curled the drivers windscreen edge up and pulled it away fromt eh hinge a tad. And the petrol flap to get rid of the anoying white head spot the car has ....

I'll keep an eye out down my breakers, most coupe parts in my area go to specialist breakers. Have you tried audibits? he'd probably have them in stock so to speak

Unfortunatley I belive the paint was only used on the CQ20's or before H reg as it was not used for the S2's.
Tis a really nice blue metallic I have the paint code and could get all sprayed but to do all this, the rust on the door and paint and all the stone chips and rear bumper scratch means that it would cost the same to have a full respray.. (over £1k) so hece the try to find the bits and replace thoughts (cheers Corey)

Found a place local today (in COV) they have an S2 airbox which I may perloin but they also had a tailgate the same colour as my car
Did a bit of hunting and found the bonnet then saw it has two huge gashes down the passengerside top surface
The bloke said he may have the door somewhere
But will let me know when I go back on tuesday.......
And NO PETROL FLAP!!!!!!

Car does look nice, what sort of s2 box did you get a 3b or aby?

CQ20V 5 speed, so same as the 3b All I did was change the engine and loom

Getting an ABY probably. picking up tuesday hopefully with a matching colour door!!!
Will solve the heat sheild probs and I'm sure I can "alter it" to suit my needs.

@acid, I have an open filter atthe moment but it is huge and the wistle back from the DV is very loud..... will show you later i at the RR.

Cheers for the ride out in your car, sounded lovely and the whistle back thru the air filter made me chuckle. Sounded a bit like andy_casey's as he's running a huge green air filter at present. Did like the exhaust you had fitted as gave a nice sound. Might have to get me one of them
