Picked up a second hand bonnet today to replace the bent one after my s6 rolled down a hill into a bike rack, the guy doing the work for me is convinced that the bonnet is supposed to be aluminium..
Im sure that the a8 was the first aluminium audi, can anyone throw any light on this as i want to make sure the car is a1 when it is finished.
I'm sure the later A6/S6 had aluminium bonnets - our 01 Allroad has - maybe thats an Allroad thang. Anyway your UrS6 precedes all of that. Twill be a steel bonnet.
