utter respect for what your doing. I'm doing similar to my 1986 pearl white UR Quattro, but i haven't started any weld repairs really yet.

You'll be able to stand back and smile knowing how you've saved its life

Just read through this thread, very impressed with the amount of work you have put into this car to restore it

its not mutch but even a small update can make a difference

what ive been done today its sanding the body
so i can have a smooth surface before the epoxy

the right side has been sanded, i hope to sand the rest off the body tomorrow morning
so i can put the epoxy in the afternoon

                  Nice job .

But what about standard rust place, pointed by arrow?

I just though, that you are going to flatten that before putting epoxy on (at the sanding time). What are you going to do there?

i am gonne use tin to flatten that out

because i dind't have tin in house, i had to wait til next week (on order)
thats why i put epoxy, and when i gonne flatten that.
i will be sanding it to bare metal again

i hope next weekend to put tin to flatten all bumps

What is that stuff, and why it is needed? Is it rubber like thing, that is used in factory?

                            this sealant protects your car
from air and water to go between the area where 2 plates join together

my car whas sandblasted and now i have to seal al the way like factory
this product its used also at the factory by us (GM)

after this the car have to be painted with primer and then you can paint it
                            and nothing will be viseble

its like rubber but its more stikkie and not mutch time to play whith it
