This all depends on how you shortened the car. If you left the sheetmetal under the rear seat original (like original Sport) then these will fit no problem.

I will be doing the battery box just like you (original)
But will add one more item, full floor length channels just like the rally cars.

Let me know if you are remaking the sheetmetal quarter posts (above headlights) as well. I need a set of those.

The pictures of the rear links are not of a shortened car though?

Yes, they are pics of shortened car (compare the floor detail to your and you will see
Factory Sports retained the rear under seat area intact (but added the battery tray and these track rod brackets).
Where they cut the floor was right under and behind the seats. This is why factory used pure recaros in Sports on frames that slide in what is left from the cut (not enough to give full adjustment). I did a lot of research including hours on my back under few real sports into how the factory did it. It is very interesting.

Here is a shot of partially bare interior to illustrate. Check out how much original seat slider is left after the cut..

The track rod brackets are P/N

I think I bought the last set two years ago. They are NLA

          Hope this helps.

If I had my seat in that posistion there is no way I could drive it! You must need to be short to sit there! I am not realy into comparing details on mine and real ones as it isn't real!

That's the beauty of building "your own".

              Tonks4x4,
let me know about those 859 803 775 and 776s
              The other pieces I need are 859 805 591 and 859 805 853
I have the rest of the puzzle here.

              Keep up the good work!

              Cheers
