What about the new kit Corey sells? They take Billies or Konis, but you need to butcher a set of legs. They're manufactured locally AFAIK, so it may be possible to get them sooner than 8 weeks.
This is the route I'm going down later in the year, with Konis to keep the cost down (as I already have them).David

A couple of pics to update you. I got the subframes back from the blasters today. The rear one needs a little repair around the control arm mounts. I am going to fully seam weld the subframes for a little added strength.
Here is a shot of the 2 halves pushed together.

And a pic of my new wheels...

It looks like you are making some good progress. When are you going to have the 2 halves welded back together?
As for the wheels what size are they? And did you consider the replicas from compomotive? I am trying to decide which to get for mine. Also does anybody know which wheels the keith edwards hill climb sport quattro uses as they look amazing!Comment

The wheels are 8.5 x 17 so I can get some decent size brakes under them. running 225/35 R17 tyres. I did not really consider any other type of wheels as I really like the Asev 'A' style.Comment
