At last, as an member here for ages, there's a time to letting you know something about my S2. Some have probably seen it in the "showcase-best pic" thread already..

Some info and pics from some days after I purchased it and polished :

Imported it myself, from Sweden in April 2007
Bone stock, only SMS chipped with an 264hk/ps Chip ( done in 1994 )
Production date : 1993
168.000km
ABY-5coil Engine
CGR-6vxl Transmission, with the wide 1gear.
Not AC/Klima, Carbon trim, dark "quattro" interiour.

We had a great time last January in Sigdal, dipute the tragedy of the fire in the 90quattro, and your engine blast =/

We have gathered a gang for this January to, are you and your mates in this year too ? This time, the "toten-boys" have equipped them with larger and MORE speakers

Okey, gonna take this step by step, as the car has gone through a lot of changes from when i buyed it :mischeif:

I think the wheels was 8x18 Borbet's something ET35.



Next step was to get the car registrated, this was a lot of work, and a lot of money

Enough of that..
Had a service with new oils, spark plugs etc. and drove it a while before I started to change things, the first thing, was the wheels..
They were replaced with a set of KH Design T751 in 9,5x18 on all 4.
.... and equipped with 225/40/18 tyres ( You will see and hear more about these in the thread )

Notice, this was also back in 2007, the car was NOT lowered this season

The second mod just had to be the "RS2" Headlights, projector lights :

After a while, a need for more power was there

So the chipset was changed to an "MTM 303RS", and a big Green Filter, custom 3" Exhaust with 3,5" diesel "lookalike" in the back... and removed the dump valve ( for the great KKK turbo sound )
When changing exhaust, I felt on the turbine axle, and there was soo big slack so this had to go. Tryed to find and RS2 Turbo, but ended on a pretty good standard KKK K24/7000...

Was very pleased with the effect and sound of this setup !

the stretch of the tyres is something that tyre manufacturers are not recommending though!Personally,after paying heavy $$$ on wheels would like them as secure as possible
