Thats absolutely true, but with carfully driving it is not any problem, I don't have an mark on the wheels after 2 seasons now..

Without the streatch there is now chance in the world to lower the car with OEM arches

      Evolving...

Drove the car the whole summer, without any problems.
The autumn came, and also did some wierd sounds from the engine bay
It was the conrod bearings, or one of them who said thanks..

Before more things could happen', the car was placed in the garage for som TLC..
About christmas time came, time to do something with it was in time !!

Here's a shoot of it placed in my garage :

.. what to do now was the question

So, started to tear it apart..
Decided to build a new engine from the ground, or rebuild the one i had.

But first I was curious to find out exactly what the problem with the engine was.

Some pics from the tear down :

Took the words right out of my mouth!

I too am interested to know what rad you are using now that you have the other inlet manifold. I ask because i looks like a URS4 AAN inlet, and i'm planing of fitting an ANN to my type 85, so i will need to do something about the standard rad, because it will be in the way.

Also, if it looks like a AAN inlet manifold, how come it has 034 motersport writen on top of it?

check my old threads gaz, there's a link to the rad its around £110 shipped iirc. And the 034 thing is either sprayed on or they sell plates you can fit on it is a AAN inlet
