I was hoping for a surprise for Christmas with the car being ready, but this is much more than I bargained for.

I do have a spare bonnet lurking somewhere, but I will probably need some new hinges to get the bonnet to sit properly. Can anyone help please? Thanks in adavance

    Another update - Another disaster

    Well the saga continues :wall:
Car was given a thorough once over before final tune with Ahmed to ensure there would be no more hiccups(?). This is when it was discovered my car was not fueling as it should be. And the reason - one of the two Bosch 044 was missing. My car has not been touched since the episode at FMS so I can only draw one conclusion.:grr:

You've got quite a bit done over this winter. Will it still get through the MOT with the new brake upgrade?

A turbo damper has also been added to hopefully take the stress and save the manifold from cracking as it did previously

This gave a good excuse to get rid of the troublesome setup and upgrade at the same time. So out with the old and in with the new.

    Rear Brakes

Next thing that needed attention was the rear brakes.
The copper brake lines had corroded away in places

Additionally, those pesky rear callipers had seized yet again
