I doubt if Aelred has mentioned it ( I dont know if they have spoken in the last 5-10years) but Dave Askem Lives on Minorca.
His company is Gt marine (search online) and is based at Port D'addaia. He doesn't work on cars primarily because there aren't many for him to work on these days but a usefully contact in you area if you don't already know him.

Dave moved there around 5 years ago now after a year up north but before that he had a stint as an AA man.

I was at Matts place the other night and he mentioned you had done some cage work a far while ago. Do you have a set of 42 mm mandrells to fit Matts pipe bender as i need a set to sort out the cage in my Saab 99??

Unfortunately not to much to report in progress, except the parts I have been waiting for. The spec has changed a little !!! I pretty much have everything now except the turbo & inlet manifold, its been a little frustrating looking at the engine & not been able to fit it but I will have the turbo early next week now so everything will move forward quickly from now

Yes so I am, things this week will start happening again the turbo will be here by Wednesday then engine in !!!
