Hi! Since my S6 is almost coming to a finish and finally road-ready i thought i'd post some info and pictures
- 1997 Audi S6 2.2 AAN
- Has 214 000 km on the clock (had 110 when i bought her 9 years ago)
It started out with a small plan and doing like a 350 hp thing when i put the car in the garage in jun of 2007. But as you guyes know, one things leads to another......
The chassis is pretty stock except H&R, adjustable Koni's and goodrigde stainless steel brakelines and 034 Track Density gear mounts
Engine:
- 2.2 AAN
- Honed block
- Polished Crank
- H-profile Rods
- Rebuilt Head (no cracks)
- Light Lifters
- Titaniums retainers
- 034 motorsport springs
- Gt 3071R 82AR
- 044 fuelpump
- 7A Cams
- Spech stage 3+ clutch for 7A engine
- Aluminum Flywheel for 7A engine
- Arp Studs on rods and head
- IC (600-70-300)
- 034 mapping/program
- 3 Bar Mapsensor
- Bosch Motorsport injectors
- Furans exhaust manifold
- 034 Oil Catch Tank
- Adjustable Fpr
- Fuel Preausre gauge
- Innovate LC-1
- 3" homemade Downpipe
- Modified 3" Simoms exhaust
- 034 Cat converter
- 034 Trackdensity engine mounts
I thinks that it
Finally got a few things sorted today so i fired her up at let her run until she got to working temperature so next up is tightening/checking the Arp studs for the head again now. Also need to install the 044 fuel pump this weekend.
Its taken almost 2 years to complete this
well.. mostly cause i totally lost all motivation last summer. i fired the engine the first time back then actually... Dunno why really... Guess i was just sick and tired of workin on the car and buying a shitload of parts that i in the beginning didn't plan to buy
So 2 months ago i bought an RS2 and that really woken up my motivation again so i just had to get that old lady finished and back on the road!
Unsure what amount of hp i'm looking at, but i'm hoping for 450+
Might go E85 just to limp over the 500bhp mark
Both positive and negative feedback are welcome!
Some pics
yeees... i know it all looks dirty and dusty... that what happens after 2 years in a garage
