RTM Garage - Working on different cars

Thought it would be fun to show the cars I'm working on my spare time.

For those who are new here, I've been into audis since 2005 and been building / helping out people all over Sweden with various stuff.

I had a pretty cool S2 Avant with 500-600 hp depending on mood and fuel in the tank, once it was on a good mood and this happend



Among other stuff, it still runs and best time is 11.44 @ 200 km/h on the quarter. It is a full year car, it runs even in the wintertime, pretty happy with that build, and the new owner is happy with the car too.

I've just finished rebuilding Andreas 3B engine, with scat rods , it seems to work out fine. I've also helped him sort out his RS2 front seats, Rs2 front lights , clutch and other stuff in the beginning.

The engine is now in the car and it seems to work out fine, fingers crossed..

Now I'm also working on a 3B engined car , with a KKK26/27 , custom cams, Rs2 em, and Turbocenter tuning, it has run 12:49 @ 186 km/h with street tyres.

This is a picture of it when it used to work , I'll post some new pictures later.

And after I'm finished with this car, I'm rebuilding maniac's (on this forum) aby engine, his car has some nice stuff on it, but the engine was unfortunately built by neanderthals so I'm hopefully sorting this out for him. Mikkal is a nice guy with a lot of patience and the right attitude towards tuned cars, I hope he will enjoy his nice Avant after I'm done with the engine, this is a picture of his lovely car.



It has SPM rods, KX500 turbo, custom EM and 7a cams (not sure about the cams) , and a spec clutch.

This weekend I'll probably drive away and buy myself another AAN engine and rebuild it for my own personal use. I'm thinking about going insane with it.. But it all depends on $$.

I knew you could not keep an audi original, is your engine going in the s6?

I'm not sure, the S6 is in such good condition, and sold as new in Sweden , very uncommon.. Maybe another C4 chassie, saw one in the vicinity of where I live, but a but pricey.. have to haggle a bit. I would really like to drive a 10 second time.. or faster, but that takes to much toll on the driveline

btw isnt it enought to mill the block straight? or is it good to rough up the surface like that?

That last pic with the steel brush is just a joke , I just sand it with 600 paper to remove gasket scrap, ofc decking would be the best option but not many can do that here in North of Sweden.

It seems to work perfectly fine.. I've ran the car 200-300km now and lift it up to check on it a couple of times.. no leaks that I can find!

And my engine is as Markus said not the first he built if you know what I mean.. but I guess that it depends a lot on what the shape is like on the parts you bring to the table? and how well-trained the eye is that checks everything out.. and in these parts I can't think of anyone better for the job!

We make a modified airbox with bigger inlet, known as the RTM box , and also I have some ideas for a valve breather system that I would like to show you , I just have to come up with a prototype first.

Yeah I've seen it, I wanted eriksson to buy it but he has a chronical infection in his cheap-gut (kronisk inflammation i snåltarmen)

And that price is WAY of. Even though it is modded. I paid less for my good knick S6. Which now needs new shocks in the rear + some bushes, goddamn Bensbyvägen..
