This is a start of my F reg Audi 90 quattro ,TDI project..........
This is a joining of two cars,i enjoyed,but got damaged by other parties.....
My engine is a 1Z taken from my old L reg Audi 80 Avant TDI,which was taken out last September by drunk driver(see prev. posts).......engine and wiring loom,pedal assembly where used.Other info of car will be supplied.
The Audi 90 quattro,was a good well spec car ,but was vanderlised whilst in storage......wings/door mirriors/front bumper where badly scratched and dented,glass on drivers side smashed,whilst interior was damaged on dash where radio/cd player was removed.................seats mucked up.
First order of day was S2 suspension/brakes upfront and ABY S2 wheels,Engine/gearbox was removed with all accessories......dashdoard was removed and all engine wiring removed.
Pedal system were next swopped over from TDI and the wiring harness was fitted........carpet was replaced from Avant as this was slighty in a better condition.S2 dash and accessory gauges used( rev counter was reclaibrated)
Aircon airbox was also swopped for the later R134a system.........
Central locking wiring system also swopped over.....
Rear red lights from my Audi 80 Avant swopped over from the orange Audi 90 lights.
Dash wiring loom from later L reg car also swopped over
Various wiring was swopped over ans some jobs were easy.,....but as wiring isnt my strong point.................whilkst pulling the tangled wiring loom from the TDI i mixed up relays and swopped them around and car wouldnt ,start with out hot wiring her, help from fellow members here,for the location of the relays
and a email to the factory i got the upto date wiring diagram for car.....SHE now runs.Bleed the clutch and drive it up and down the drive of dads house.
General car rewire and use upteen rolls of fiber tap to do up looms.............the hassle now with the wiring,is trying to fit everything back into drivers foot well
