We have made an enhancement so that old threads should now link from search results to the correct thread. This is not yet in place for single post links
got my self an s2 this weeked, 1993 k reg and its red. started my weight watchers classes on it and had to sort out some odd wireing on it but made a start, mine new this this forum and not sure now to up load pic`s any help with this would be great.

Whats the plans then. Im assuming it being a track slag, remove all the interior, and fit uprated shocks, springs and brakes. Anything planned for the engine?

Pics are quite simple. Go to the advanced screen and scroll down to the attachments button then browse to find the pics on your computer and upload them. Note that there are size limits per pic tho. The other option is to link to a free photobucket account or similar. Best to resize to 1024x768 or 800x600 before uploading here.

yes going to fit hi-spec 6pot brakes with 314mm discs up front and going to do a 280mm upgrade on rears. Have been looking at a coilover kit made by kw, i have them on my mk2 golf and think they are great, there are very little options for coilovers for S2. For the engine i going to get gt3071r and change the rods and rings, 7A cam, port polish and 3 angle valave seats in the head, upgrade intercooler flywheel and clutch. I am after a dog box for it as well but have not started looking for it yet. any help would be great ive always been into my mk2 golf so new to s2`s
KW coilovers are well respected alright. Think / research your cam choices well for the application and put on adjustable pulley to give you some options.
'dog box' - kerching - you'll change your mind when you find the price for such a thing. Thank goodness a stock 016 or 01E is plenty strong enough for all but the highest power applications
yes did that today, and i dont have red hair its blonde but the red off the floor makes it look red in the pic, not there is anything wrong with red hair just like to say i dont have it. next on my list is to get it over safety devices to get the rollcage fitted just waiting to here back from them about the quote.

im going full monty but will be a bolt in cage, they let you design the cage that you want and build it for you but they will have to fit it. I will try and order brakes and coil overs this week if i get time so will be alot more pics to follow.
Yes i want car finished by spring next year ready for better weather, so i have have set a goal to be done in March, ready for some testing. Dont know if any guys on here use there cars for hillclimbing i really fancy a go just need some info on it. I think the KW coilovers are the ones im goin for. will order them end of the week. i will start a "trackslag" post in the projects and show the progress of it when parts start to arrive.
