Might be worth getting an ABY/ADU fan for the rad and go full Samco water and air hoses

Also, get some stronger rods in there so you can extract the full potential from the RS2 turbo.

Should be very nice when all done

With RS2 ecu you can run the MRC 1.9 high boost generic map, HIGHLY recommend doing that although you aren't using RS2 injectors which may mean your going to need a full remap or a S2central homefry maybe tweaked to suit.

You don't need new rods if it's mapped less aggressively low down or run on the stock map. To get the full potential from the turbo with low grunt it does need new rods for safety.

You don't need an RS2 x-member the S2 one can be modded plenty of threads showing how it's done.

Are you converting to 6 speed geatbox? the 5 speeds not going to like the RS2 torque

Same as Scat but better weighted.

They are all from the same design very good for budget builds

I was planning on going with rods from Aron before finances took a dive ealier in the year. This is still the route I'll take if I build a proper engine.

It will be broke soon enough ask Audiman

I think a few members have them in higher powered cars, you'd have to search around

id go with rods. i got scats. no probs so far. like many say most rods look about the same but engraved. cost me 300 dollars for a set.

weight wise i had mine matched. its best to do either way for the 50 quid or so. i like the idea of less worry, more potential so id fit rods.

brake wise speak to bambridge i think it is now. mine were from quattronics a couple of years back. discs are from ECP. bout 115 each.

potentially i would also look at the value of the rs2 IC, inlet and hoses against the cost of a wagner inlet, ic and xmember. maybe you can get good money for your rs2 bits.

get some arp head studs too
