            Hi DAVID20V and all
true, I found on some posts that in US they have ones, but in not in BAR mesure... :-(
do you think that the bakground could be repainted and redraw a scale? my local VDO dealer sugested that - buying a black version with BAR scale and having repainted on some tunning shop service or so.

i dont know, maybe is to much messy work.

another thing is the night light efect and coloring, seem that searching for a perfect match is a bit dificult.

Where do you get those centre vents from? Or is it just a case of hacking into one with a blunt instrument?

Dean (jubjub) gave me one of his spares which he hacked. I think he said he used a jigsaw. Dremmel may be an easier option.

I'll maybe get a spare from a scrappy and have a go with that first.

                        Thanks Peter

Get a pair of thin nosed pliars, grab the vent and then pull. It should just come straight out.

If I can manage to find a gauge that looks pretty similar to the original S2 ones, I want to remove the fuel gauge and put the boost gauge in its place - the instument display gives two other warnings of low fuel, so it should be OK to do this... hopefully I've yet to remove the instrument cluster too see if there's room tho'.

...still looking for the right gauge
