anyway what is the fun in buying a car where everything is done for you. At least there is plenty more to play with which can be done at leisure without the car being off the road for months,

i have converted 4 more audi's to 20vt since this one it's all am exercise to generate funds for my shorty. Which one day WILL be done.

Hey, I wasn't having a go. Just when I read your original thread it sounded quite exciting and I was looking forward to seeing the results of the plans.

I wonder how many 90's are left on the road these days. To my recollection, under 900 were sold in UK. Unfortunately, too many have gone the shorty route

no offence taken. they are certainly getting rarer. My shorty started life as a 2 door 80. My latest inbetween project is an s2 cab, see the xmas boredom thread

Just a quick update... I got a call from the new owner of the white 90 20vt. He went to a rolling road day last week. A standard RS2 produced 316bhp just before the 90 went on. The 90 produced max bhp of 319bhp....
I know that rollers can't be trusted but it was f'kin fast....

Which rolling road was that?

Did it still have your boost control mod fitted?

Yes mate it was still how I left it. Not sure which rolling road it was I will ask the guy next time he calls me.

Just made me smile a little.....

The mods he has made are, EGT gauge, boost gauge and AF meter to keep his eye on things.

He has arranged a bigger brake upgrade for it and a set of coilovers and apparently has already changed the complete fron a pillar where it had rotted.

So it should be a cool car when he has finished with it....

Sadly due to lack of space this mean machine is back up for sale

The garage that were going to do all the body work etc have shut shop leaving the car as is....

If anyone would like a butchers before my old man (parked on his drive) decides to scrap it (he scraped my last 90 B2) please let me know..
