Well with all the talk of t85q's on here lately i thought id post up mine.
The idea is too turn my 90q into a relatively low cost track slag.
The original plan was to use some of the s2 parts ive already got. These included
a set of kw v1 coilovers, porsche 996 monoblocks with 323a8 discs and 3b hubs. Id hoped id just need to find a suitable driveshaft without resorting to changing subframes, diff gearbox etc. Sadly i cant find a way of doing this so currently looking at the compbrake coilover kit and alternative brake uprgrades.
The base car is an 84 90 quattro 2.2kv. Currently has a pack c tsr big valve head and shrick cam, lowered 60mm on a set of 15" bbs's. Hoping to get it up to Tonks in the next mth for him to fit the aby lump ive got thats currently residing in his lock up.
Ive already got a cage sat in the back garden waiting to be shotblasted and powder coated. Its a bolt in cage made by dialynx but im going to have it welded in.
Im really not a fan of the stock 90 bumpers so ive sourced a set of 80q bumpers and lower aprons that will hopefully be here towards the end of the mth. Still planning on converting to 5 stud using ur hubs.
