    S2 400-450hp

    Hello,

I'm planning small power increase on my car And I'm looking for your opinion!

This is what I have on my mind:

    Turbo - k26/27
new map sensor - any recommendation here?
    Custom ex-manifold
    custom intake-manifold
    custom exhaust system on 63-70mm
    custom blow-off
    custom interculler and routes
    7A cams
    Bosch motor sport fuel pump
    injectors - 630cc
Greddy Spec 2 Boost controller or maybe manual - I'm not sure what are the advantages of Greddy and can I use manual one instead? I know that Geddy is one of the best boost controllers but is slight pricey what do you recommend instate?

What do you think can pull out 450hp with this setup?

the spec 2 has been artound many years. its pretty basic but works well. one of the best? not too sure. lots is opinion based.

id not bother with manual. its near impossible to control spikes and ramp in of boost.

go full 3" with the exhaust. id call carsten for the rest. its easier and not too expensive. id also get a turbo that fred flintstone hasn't seen go end of life.

Not with that turbo IMO, you'd need a bigger one to hit 450 outright, more like a K27/K29 would get you that easy.

the boost controllers works mechanically like whem unplug the N75 valve?? that it is "worse" than use the car working with N75..

if you are not thinking in upgrade the botton end...i woukd not go looking for more than 400hp...

        good luck Niko,

I got the Turbine today Turbonetics GT-K 450 http://www.phantasmusa.com/turboneticsgtk.html but steal waiting for the manifold from Rocco

What you think if I change the rods(SCATT 144mm) but leave stok pistons? Will there be any sense of this?I'm wonder in this case to get more boost and this to be save for the engine, let say up to 2 - 2.2 bars may be more?

Stock pistons are good for major power, no problem with them. Most only change them if they require a rebore or custom Compression ratios

Nikolay, with the scat Rods surelly your engine will be more reliable sure sure

because you will hit a lot of NM of torque with this new turbo, stock Rods could work i think but....this is not the word of God

you can buy a nice upgraded Rods from Aronmatic2 forum member,Aron for the friends

Pm him about Rods....and the price....you will like it

You get what you pay for I'd use Aron rods over Scat, been a few issue with Scats recently. When they 1st came out I had a set so did Terrybullwon we both went to Pauters

i have been using scats and many have on other engines for a long time without any issues. Make sure their weight is similar between them.Im reaching 600Nm+torque without problems.

I said recently, the quality of the items seems to vary per batch made

Yes mine were well out, and the quality not 100% for sure. Like you said you get what you pay for.

I can get Arrow rods and other Arrow components for that matter at good money if thats any help, I did enquire a while back about rods but I forgot the price, a LOT less than rrp though.

Quality wise they are equally the best available, Carillo are apparently moving operations to China or something along those lines, not that I expect it will effect the quality of their stuff but like anything made in China I'd be seeing if the quality stays as good which considering who they supply I would expect to not see any changes.

Scats are made in Bangladesh IIRC
