What do you think of my project

I guess that I am just anxious to complete my project and I'm fully aware that I still have months of work left until I can fire it up for the first time, but I wanted to know what you guys think of it. I'm not really liked by parties on either side of the fence, however just for grins I want your opinions. I'm transplanting the motor from a 1995 s6 (which was wrecked) into my 944. I figure that this may have been the natural progression for the car, had the 944 retained an Audi motor like the 924 started out with. My goal is 400 bhp. I figured that this isn't too taxing on the motor and should motivate a 2600 pound car pretty well. So anyways let me know what you guys think. If you'd like you can see the current progress at ninas20vt

I like the sound of this. Can't see any reason not to do this conversion, will be a bit of a handful with 400BHP and RWD, fun though and more importantly different.

I'm hoping that it will be a handful...hehe. EFI Express is helping out with locating a twin disk clutch for it. Hopefully that part of the project will be sorted shortly.

I'm fitting it with a Holset. Hopefully that will work out as planned.

This looks to be a great project dude. 944 is quite nice to handle I have heard from others.

If you are really going to plant in the il5 engine please post pics over here in the forum, as I really like to see how it all fits and connects

            Have fun!

I have had the motor in already, currently it is back out. I had to make a custom oilpan and dropped it off at the powder coater yesterday. As soon as that is done I will put the motor back in and take a better picture, but this is the only one that I have currently. I have alot of info about the swap on my blog at ninas20vt
